Jack's last junior game...

Jack Walker played his last junior cricket match last Monday, after 7 seasons with Bagnall CC. Jack  scored a quickfire 18 in a useful opening partnership with Oliver Moran of 47, and claimed the wicket of opener George Morley for 0.

"I've enjoyed every minute of every age group, and have been well looked after by the club, who have given me opportunities and top-class coaching" he said. "Being captain of the Under 17's for two years has been brilliant, although I moan plenty when we don't win !"

Jack has also been playing for Bagnall 2nd XI for two seasons and has played a handful of first team games this year.

"I'd like to thank Andy Moran for so much of my coaching and support over the last 7 years" said Jack.

The future looks rosy for next year's Under 17's with the whole of the rest of the team being eligible for next season. Oliver Moran, Tom Gordon, Ben Owen and Josh Jeynes will be in their final season while younger lads like Joe Bradburn, James Brindley, James Bourne and Oliver Bowditch who have progressed markedly this year, have another 3 years of junior cricket.
